建水文庙中英文简介

建水文庙始建于元朝至元二十二年（公元1285年），至今已有700多年的历史。经历代50多次扩建增修，占地面积已达7.6万平方米，其现存规模、建筑水平和保存完好程度，都仅次于山东曲阜孔庙和北京孔庙，是中国南方最大的地方性文庙。
      建水文庙依照曲阜孔庙的风格规制建造，采用南北中轴线对称的宫殿式，东西两侧对称布置多个单体建筑。主要建筑包括：一池、一殿、一阁、二庑、三堂、三亭、五门、六祠、八坊等共37个。整个建筑宏伟壮丽，结构严谨，给人以庄严肃穆之感，为建水这个国家级历史文化名城增添了极其丰富的传统文化内涵。
      The Jianshui Confucius Temple was initially built in the 22nd year of the reign of Zhi Yuan in the Yuan Dynasty (1285AD)and it has enjoyed a history of over 700 years.From then on ,it has been repaired and extended approximately 50 times and it now takes up some 7.6 hectares in area. As far as the scale,construction standard and excellence in preservation is concerned, the Jianshui Confucius Temple stands second only to the one in Qufu of shandong Province, hometowm of Confucius and the one in Beijing. It is the best large-scale Confucius Temples in south China.
      Constructed by strictly consulting the style of fhat in Qufu, the Jianshui Confucius Temple is in palace-style, showing symmetry on the south-to-north axis with several independent buildings arranged at both eastern and western sides. There  were some 37 main buidings in the temple, in cluding one pond , one hall, one garret , two living houses, three pavilions five gates , six memorial temples and eight archways. Viewing as a whole, the temple is magnificent in appearance and well coordinated in structure, not only assuming a solemn atmosphere, but also adding profound contents of traditional culture to Jianshui, the famous city of historical culture at the national level.转自建水旅游网
